All so Boden/private school/11 plus common now

Mrsknackered · 16/09/2017 23:30

I love Alicia. As long as it is A-Leesha-a, not a fan of the other pronunciation.
I really like Iona.
I dislike Verity.

Applesandpears56 · 16/09/2017 23:15

Alannah?

Joanna or Cecily get my vote - lots of lovely names on your list but don't like Celia as I read it as celiac

pomadas87 · 16/09/2017 23:04

Thanks everyone Smile if you have any similar suggestions ending in 'a' do let me know!

All lovely names, but my favourites are Verity, Julia and Alicia :-)

DuggeeHugs · 16/09/2017 20:50

Verity and Celia. I know only one of each and both are awesome people

How about Kirsty/Kirstie/Kirsten/Kirstin?

Cecily, Celia or Joanna

JaffaJaffaJaffa · 16/09/2017 19:42

I love Verity, another favourite is Elspeth

Kazzawazza69 · 16/09/2017 19:42

Verity is my favourite from your list, followed by Iona.

TheDodgyEnd · 16/09/2017 19:38

Love the name Joanna but little one may get called 'Joanne' a lot which is an entirely separate name and imo not as pretty. Do you like 'Ida' - would sound nice with a 'mac' surname? Off the top of my head other 'a' names I like are:
Ida
Lina
Fia
Lana
Reeva - my favourite but some negative associations that I doubt would be thought of now though.

pomadas87 · 16/09/2017 19:25

susierocks I know! Not a problem but seeing as we live in Scotland and have a Scottish surname I can't help but feel I (English) get a bit lost in all of it! If that makes sense
