Shorten it to Mary Beth?

My first name is just Elizabeth and I think it's too long. A 4-syllable is an ass-ache to say quickly. So yes, Mary Elizabeth is definitely too long as a first name.

Also, don't call her Mary Jane. It's well-known slang for marijuana.

Prefer Mary Jayne..

Sounds like someone trying too hard to be posh with the names, with them being synonymous with queens. Unless that's you Kate?

AdalindSchade · 15/09/2017 20:05

Yes. It's 6 syllables! Pick one.
