I just do not understand the whole Beau/BeauX thing. As PP have said, Beau is the masculine form of beautiful and Beaux is plural! You don't add an X and it becomes feminine, the feminine form is Belle!

I like Noah from your list, and Harper, but not with Blu. Not too keen on double barrelled names at the moment tbh.

AdalindSchade · 11/09/2017 20:46

As has been said on all the other 'beau' threads recently
Beau is masculine. Not for girls.
I like your variation on a theme by adding beaux into the mix. Beaux is plural, so not a name for one child, literally ever.

Fandabidozy · 11/09/2017 20:43

Not keen on any tbh, Harper-Blu sounds like a cleaning product and that spelling of Rylee is just awful it looks wrong different but it sounds the same as all the other Riley's around.

Francesca is lovely though, I'd use that with Frankie as a nickname :)

Sophronia · 11/09/2017 20:34

I like Myla and Eden

Mulch · 11/09/2017 20:23

I love Frankie for a girl and rylee for a boy

Glumglowworm · 11/09/2017 20:22

Amelia without a hyphen

Noah

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 11/09/2017 19:40

I like Riley Jade, and Beau.

Dolwar · 11/09/2017 16:39

I would avoid Jade......it brings back memories of the 90s when there were lots of little girls from lower socio-economic areas with Croydon facelifts and rainbow bobbles called Jade.

Also EVERYONE is hyphenating first names now. It is very yawn. Add that to the fact that one of the 2 names is usually Lily/Lilly/May/Mae/Mai/Eva/Ava/Grace and you get a real lack of variety.

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 11/09/2017 16:10

Like Amelia-Jade but anything more than a 3 syllable middle name sounds a mouthful.

PS Why not Blue, to me Blu reads like a cleaning product.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 11/09/2017 16:08

Beau for a boy. Also quite like it for a girl. Not keen on the other boys names.
Amelia Grace
Lily-Jade
Lily-Beau
Frankie-Beau
Amelia-Beau
Harper-Grace
I'm tempted to say Lily Grace but They're everywhere

grufallosfriend · 11/09/2017 16:08

I really like Aria!

Noah is way overused imo.

Mrsknackered · 11/09/2017 16:07

Frankie for girl (love it)

Eden or Noah for boys, probably Eden as it's less popular. I love it

Yourshakraishangingout · 11/09/2017 16:06

I do think it's a bit long, sorry. Could she just be Amelia Elizabeth/Francesca?

MrsTerryPratchett · 11/09/2017 15:59

Yes. Just think of every form the poor girl will fill out in her life.

Jellybeans90 · 11/09/2017 15:56

Is Amelia-Jade Elizabeth or Francesca a bit much?

OP posts:
Yourshakraishangingout · 11/09/2017 15:53

I actually know children with all of these names (not hyphenated and spelt traditionally) except Beau, so I wouldn't say any of them are particularly 'out there'

MrsTerryPratchett · 11/09/2017 15:50

What about Amelia with Jade as a middle name? Then you can call her Amelia Jade, she only has to spell Amelia and isn't lumbered with a double name? I mean it's FIVE syllables! For a small child that's a bit rough.

Jellybeans90 · 11/09/2017 15:47

I like Amelia-Jade then Francesca/Elizabeth as a middle name with it? Thoughts?!

OP posts:
Nomoresunshine · 11/09/2017 15:47

Eden for a girl.
Noah /Moses for a boy.

MrsTerryPratchett · 11/09/2017 15:46

I think My May Mae Mi names are really common at the moment.

Jellybeans90 · 11/09/2017 15:45

Ok..thoughts on Myla?

OP posts:
MrsTerryPratchett · 11/09/2017 15:44

They're just misspelled common names, aren't they? Riley is a Gaelic name which is quite common. So do you want a modern name that is fairly unusual or just a common name spelled differently.

FWIW DD calls our car Ryla which I think is a great name!

ineedamoreadultieradult · 11/09/2017 15:42

Rylee isn't out there it is just an alternative spelling of Ryley and there are loads of Ryley's.

Jellybeans90 · 11/09/2017 15:40

Or are they a bit out there

OP posts:
Jellybeans90 · 11/09/2017 15:39

But I want something unusual like Myla or Rylee.
