Aubrey really isn't popular, but I've seen it on here and I'm falling in love Grin it's so unpopular that I love it!

Finn was our fave but now I'm think but Aubrey is gorgeous!

Help...

They seem very different style of names - really the opposite ends of the spectrum. Finn is cooler/trendier and Aubrey is old gentleman - I imagine some colonel type in tweeds. I quite like both of them.

BackieJerkhart · 01/09/2017 11:13

Finn is far too popular for anyone to ever name another child Finn IMO Grin

Having said that, Aubrey seems to be picking up momentum this year so you could have one of a few in his year at school.

Aubrey is a fat curly haired kid. Finn is a long haired hipster.

Mrscropley · 01/09/2017 11:28

I have a Fynn. Aubrey is a little girl off that American teen pregnancy programme!!

Hmm seriously??

Finn is so overused and not at all cool imo.

Aubrey is very cool and much more interesting!

Aubrey 😍 Loving this name for a boy, I have recently saw loads of posts showing love for this name too!! Just remember what matters is if YOU love the name :)

Sophronia · 01/09/2017 20:50

Aubrey

Lemondrop99 · 02/09/2017 15:16

I love Aubrey, but didn't get much good feedback when I mentioned it to family and friends Sad

Pidgythe2nd · 03/09/2017 13:12

Finley/Finlay is very popular. Unfortunately, shortened to Finn. Different names however.

Finn not so popular.

I think of Aubrey as a girl, but I know it can be unisex.

I also have a Finn, and he is certainly not the class bully! Kind, popular and cheeky (in a good way)!

Aubrey is fab. Nice sound and not bazillions of them around. Find also has a nice sound but there are a lot around me.

If you like Aubrey but aren't totally sold how about Alban (maybe not if you're Mediterranean colouring :) ), Corben or Fergus?

EllenJanethickerknickers · 03/09/2017 22:05

I don't really like Aubrey, but I don't get the unisex comments. I've never heard of it as a girl's name, only ever as a boy's.

I like Finlay more than Finn.

Runningyogabooze · 03/09/2017 22:06

Aubrey. Way too many Finns around these days!
