Aubrey really isn't popular, but I've seen it on here and I'm falling in love Grin it's so unpopular that I love it!

Finn was our fave but now I'm think but Aubrey is gorgeous!

Help...

I knew an elderly Aubrey. Lovely chap. But every time I saw him, without fail, I would think aubergine in my head after his name. no idea why.

Prefer Finn personally but as I always say on these threads, the beauty of names is that's we don't all like the same ones. Diversity is a good thing and excluding inappropriate choices any name you give your child with love should be acceptable.

I hear Aubrey, I think this guy, but am probably just showing my age.

Finn far preferable.

Finn = love it

Aubrey = just no

SwishSwishBish · 01/09/2017 07:41

Finn

Friolero · 01/09/2017 07:41

I prefer Finn, not keen on Aubrey.

BillywigSting · 01/09/2017 07:41

Aubrey for me. My dad's best man was called Aubrey and he was a pretty amazing man. Finn I'm not as keen on, Finn is either an old Irish mythical hero or the class bully ime.

pigeondujour · 01/09/2017 07:38

I absolutely love Aubrey.

MyOtherProfile · 01/09/2017 07:37

Finn is v popular. That is fine so long as you don't mind your kid being in a class with others of the same name.
Aubrey I just don't get. Sounds too much lile Audrey which is my old aunt's name.

AuntieStella · 01/09/2017 07:36

Aubrey - lovely name, and as you'll see form other recent threads, it's a boy's name in UK.

There are so many little Finns round here it sometimes feels like shark central.

timeisnotaline · 01/09/2017 07:33

I love both but Audrey is my favorite girls name so doubt I'd use Aubrey. It is lovely and underused though.
I have a Finn , christened Finley and of course love it (although i sometimes wish I'd chosen Finnegan)

IheartCaptainHolt · 01/09/2017 07:29

Finn

MammieBear · 01/09/2017 07:28

Finn this time

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 01/09/2017 06:24

Finn by a mile.

HerRoyalNotness · 01/09/2017 02:45

I love both! For me though, I would have used Aubre(e)y for a girl, so personally would use Finn for a boy
