Thoughts on Keira?

Do you like the name?

Do you know many?

Keira or Kiera? (I don't like the C spelling sorry)

Middle names? Jasmine, Jean or Jessica?

I know a Kiera in her late 20s spelled this way. I think the name increased in popularity in the 2000s because of Keira Knightley, who has said that her mum spelled her name wrong on her birth certificate and it was actually supposed to be Kiera! Now lots of other people have followed suit, and Keira has become the more common spelling.

Yes I would because Ciara is an Irish name, and Ciara is how it's spelt.
It's a lovely name regardless of how it's spelt though

Im not sure really..It doesn't look like it reads properly, if that even makes sense. I think it may get mispronounced and im not Irish.

I've never seen it spelt, Kiera and I've known a few. I agree it's odd considering it's the feminine of Kieran.
I'd spell it Keira otherwise she'll spend forever correcting people.

Its the ie spelling in Kieran that really throws me, but it seems the Keira spelling is most recognised.

I think it's a perfectly fine name. I'd spell it Keira despite the fact that Kieran/Cieran is spelt ie.
