Jordan is terrible. I like Thea though.

17caterpillars1mouse · 29/08/2017 11:11

I know an early 20s female Jordan but I don't like it.

MissAlabamaWhitman · 28/08/2017 19:39

I have a twenty seven year old cousin named Jordan.

She was named after Tom Cruise's love interest in Cocktail!

Mightybanhammer · 28/08/2017 18:34

No. Chavvy. Sorry.

pilates · 28/08/2017 10:40

Jordan is awful
How about Rudy

Pixel99 · 27/08/2017 23:21

What about Jamie? What type of name are you looking for?

SuburbanRhonda · 27/08/2017 20:52

Sorry, just googled - she's from Britain First.

SuburbanRhonda · 27/08/2017 20:51

Isn't the deputy leader of the English Defence League called Jayda?

That would be enough to put me off.

nelliebear · 27/08/2017 20:34

My sister is called Jordan, she's 21 now. She always hated it when she was younger but that may be because she was referred to as girl Jordan because there were a couple of boys too!

SuperBeagle · 27/08/2017 20:28

I prefer Jada/Jayda/Jaida

Janus · 27/08/2017 18:23

Jooni I like nearly all your names, OP, these are much prettier than Jordan/Jaden imo

Jooni · 27/08/2017 17:37

How about Alexia or Alexis instead of Alexa?

Aisling (Ashling) or Asha/Aisha instead of Ashley?

Jordan just makes me think of the topless model and Jaden is a boy's name (I like Jada though!) Thea is lovely, shame you can't use it.

Others you might like:

Ashley is the nicest name you've mentioned, really pretty but understated.

Why would people be negative about it?

Sub, not really looking for anything in particular although i do like those types of names. Alexa is another option but Alexa Amazon is putting me off Confused

Jordanna.

SuburbanRhonda · 27/08/2017 16:44

Google baby names, OP - there are thousands!

Are you particularly looking for a girls name that is a surname?

MammieBear · 27/08/2017 16:10

Only know boy's with the name.

rosesndt · 27/08/2017 16:01

I like Thea but cant use. I also like Ashley but think people would be negative about it / dislike it. Really struggling with names

SuburbanRhonda · 27/08/2017 15:47

Thea's ok.

I've come across lots of Jaydens (all boys) in my many years of working in primary schools, so I wouldn't choose it for a girl.

Any others, OP?

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 27/08/2017 15:43

Jodie is nice, not keen on Jordan.

Sunnyshores · 27/08/2017 15:30

Jordan def not.
Ive heard Jaden (Jayden) used for a boy, so not keen on that either.
Thea is pretty though

Janus · 27/08/2017 15:24

Thea or Jaden better, Thea is very pretty. Jordan is always a topless model to me, couldn't do that to a baby!

rosesndt · 27/08/2017 15:23

I like Thea and Jaden also.
