Love Esme & Rory for girls
Love Atticus, Roman, Oliver & Theo for boys

oldmacdonalde471 · 25/09/2017 20:52

However, my issue with Ezra is that it's a boys' name but ends in -a?

Just curious, what does anyone else think about this? Is it a traditionally Jewish tradition for boys' names to end in -a?

oldmacdonalde471 · 25/09/2017 20:49

Saffron and Ezra are my favourites from your lists.

I really love Saffron but would never use it myself as I know one from school.

My lease favourite are Oliver and Esme.

Montsti · 25/09/2017 20:44

I like Rose, Isabelle & Ava best of the girls names

&

Oliver, Atticus & Finn of the boys

Girls:
Aurora (nn Rory)
Willow

Boys:
Noah
Ezra

I love most of the names you posted but i've narrowed down my favourites! Aurora and Ezra are the top of our list. Noah and Willow would also be at top but we have close friends who have children with those names xx

Smoliver · 25/09/2017 16:58

I love your name choices - we have similar taste.

My favourites from your list though would be...

Rose, Esme, Willow and Aurora (especially with the nickname Rory)

Finn, Spencer, Oliver, Theo

Love Atticus and Aurora! Both beautiful classics that aren't overused. Great choices!

Liadain · 27/08/2017 12:29

Girls:
Rose - unusual as a first name, I like it. Also Rosalie or Rosanna?
Isabelle - nope. Its just a bit blah now - the Linda of the new generation.
Esme - very pretty
Ava - nah. I know you aren't concerned with popularity but you have much nicer options than this and Isabelle.
Saffron (nn Saffy) - lovely name.
Aurora (nn Rory) - no. Looks beautiful written down but imo the sound of the name isn't great and a bit overly disney princess.
Iris - meh.
Willow - beautiful name.

Boys:
Atticus - no.
Finn - it's ok. Fionn is similar, if that interested you.
Oliver - nah
Roman - nah
Noah - ok
Spencer - a bit surnamey for me
Ezra - love this one
Theo - ok but not great

I think my favourites are Rose, Ezra, Finn and Saffron.

CakeRattleandRoll · 27/08/2017 10:20

Esme, Iris and Theo are my favourites.

MammieBear · 27/08/2017 08:51

Esmae and Atticus are my favourites as Esmae means beloved and Atticus for it having the heroic association of to kill a mocking bird.

Sophronia · 27/08/2017 02:50

Rose and Ezra

twinklestar2 · 27/08/2017 00:32

Ava and Noah

HeteronormativeHaybales · 27/08/2017 00:28

Iris and Atticus are my favourites. I also like Aurora, but think the pre-ordained 'nickname' could go either way - it could be tremendously cute evolving into tremendously cool, or she could hate, loathe and detest it.

Jooni · 26/08/2017 22:23

Idris

Orangebird69 · 26/08/2017 22:21

Girls - Iris
Boys - Noah

I don't like any of the other options at all.

early30smum · 26/08/2017 22:19

I love every name on both your lists with the exception of Spencer.

If I had to choose I'd pick Esme and Noah but really you can't go wrong with any of them!

Catinthecorner · 26/08/2017 22:07
