It's definitely one that needs to have a surname which matches otherwise it could sound very silly. Too posh sounding for my taste though.

I knew a Lysander years ago. He was posh, tall, artsy, a snappy dresser. His name suited him down to the ground.

I have to say that it's a hard name to imagine on most of the men & boys I know, though.
