A sister for Darcey, to be born at Christmas

Surname is one syllable and starts with B.
Just to make it more tricky, we live in a francophone country so needs to be something that works for French speakers as well as English ones.

Any nice ideas?

Congratulations! I came on to suggest Nina (works well in English and French i think) but I also know a Sasha who is a Natasha.

Sasha Obama's full name is Natasha. Don't know how common that usage it but it works for her!

If you like Clara, I wouldn't worry about her cousin being Ciara as they don't sound too similar and are a different feel.

How about Anna, Tamara, Margot or Evelyn (I'm thinking Christmas ballet theme too)

Yes Clara was already suggested upthread and I'm not overly keen as her 1st cousin is a Ciara
