Classic, but slightly less popular girls names?

Hi all,

We're looking for a girls name that is both classic, but not really popular. Easy to spell too! We love the name Amelia, but it's so popular right now we'd like to avoid it.

Some of our choices right now (to give you an example of what we're thinking!) include:

Harriett (Harry)
Winifred (Winnie or Freddie)
Lucy
Everly (Evie)

Any suggestions? Any and all appreciated! Smile

Thanks in advance

Where has Everly come from all of a sudden? Is it made up?

The thing will Everly is, it will possibly get mistaken for Emily quite a bit.

I'm loving all of these! It's definitely helping to have some input. We wouldn't have thought of these otherwise!

Hannah, Georgina, Elizabeth (loads of good shortenings, not used much these days!), Henrietta... I've been trying to think along much the same lines myself so interested to see what others come up with.

Swearwolf · 15/08/2017 18:05

If you love amelia, what about Cecilia?
