A name for Charlotte's twin sister!

Hello,
In the next couple of weeks my twin girls will be born. We've decided on Charlotte for one of them bit aren't getting anywhere with her sister.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I feel like I've been through every baby name list on the internet.

Three of the six Charlottes I know have sisters called Megan.

So for me, Charlotte & Megan match perfectly Grin.

In one family they are known as Lottie & Meg.

Another vote for Elizabeth - I like names which the child can grow in to and personalise as their personality develops (Charlie / Lottie / Lizzie / Beth etc)

Elisabeth and Alexandra are my favourites as the same Edwardian feel and same number of letters as Charlotte although they do have an extra syllable - if me I'd have to give charlotte an extra syllable in her middle name! Cousins/ family names are cool. Think charlotte/Emily a bit bronte twee....

The name that jumped straight out at me was Harriet. I also like they can both be shorten in a similar way Charlie & Harry. Thus avoiding the arguments about one being 'better' than the other!

Personally I wouldn't give one twin a long name with several shortening possibilities & the other a short name (like Emily).

As for cousins you don't see that often, no problem to use the same name if you really love it.

One of my customers at work had twin girls, a Charlotte. Other twin didn't have a name so I suggested my DD's which is Elsie. He came in a week later and told me his wife had loved it and they chose it 😌

We've got friends with twins and they are Charlotte and Jessica which are lovely together. I've also got a friend with a Charlotte and Harriet (not twins). Good luck!
