the name that my very first boyfriend....

Littlefish · 11/08/2017 16:58

Eric/Erik is awful. It was also the name that I very first boyfriend gave to his errection!

Threeandabit · 11/08/2017 16:56

Sorry, just realised you said misspelt!

Threeandabit · 11/08/2017 16:54

How should Jesse be pronounced, *MikeUniformMike?

MikeUniformMike · 10/08/2017 23:06

Eric, Max and Jacob are all fine.
Jesse will be misspelt as Jessie.

zeebeedee · 10/08/2017 22:29

There is an Eric in my son's school, it just seems normal now I know someone called it. I do prefer Erik though.

ThinkIlikeit · 10/08/2017 21:10

No not good

bridgetreilly · 10/08/2017 18:33

Eric is much better than Erik, unless you are actually a Viking.

FizzyGreenWater · 10/08/2017 18:27

Confused noooo not really.

It should be cool. But it's not. I think it's something to do with the vowel at the start - it just sounds a bit nothing.

Sophronia · 10/08/2017 00:15

I quite like Eric!

sauceyorange · 09/08/2017 23:02

Isn't there a dick king smith book about a boy who turns into a dog when his nose itches? I think he's called Eric

Also there's a flat Eric. Not sure where from

IrregularCommentary · 09/08/2017 22:51

Love Eric and Max. Jesse doesn't do anything for me personally, but nothing wrong with it.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 09/08/2017 22:50

I actually like Eric/k, and Simon Cowell's little boy is totally adorable !
How about Elric or Elwood (Woody).

lisara79 · 09/08/2017 21:35

it's starting to grow on me although it being Simon Cowells sons name is a big Mark against..

Muddlingalongalone · 09/08/2017 21:33

Didn't Simon Cowell call his son Eric??

Threeandabit · 09/08/2017 21:29

Dave Gorman (and Mrs Gorman) have an Eric. It's a great name.

RiverTam · 09/08/2017 21:26

I know a couple of little Erics, it's a great name! Pleased that it's having a comeback.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 09/08/2017 21:25

I can only think of Eric pollard and Eric morecombe Grin.

Maroonie · 09/08/2017 21:24

The prince in the little mermaid
I like it

BroomstickOfLove · 09/08/2017 21:01

All the Erics I've met have been very sexy. And there's Eric Bana. My uncle had a friend called Eric who was a mountain rescue person in the Alps.

So I think of Eric as being attractive, heroic and kind.

Mrscropley · 09/08/2017 20:59

Eric Estrada

Chaffinch4 · 09/08/2017 20:58

I love Eric. Fabulous name. Jesse and Jacob are lovely too. I don't feel that they're so far apart in style...

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 09/08/2017 20:50

I dunno, Eric/k just not cool. I wouldn't necessarily be keen to meet teen dds new boyfriend called...Eric. You'd get to love him despite his name. Not great.
