I dunno! Don't want it to be too popular. I like classic names and names from history and literature. Any suggestions welcomed!

I have one from your list (the first one) it really is a lovely name. I never tire of saying it even when it's being guldered at a "spirited" 6 year old .
I know an Astrid, I didn't like it at first but it is growing on me, which strangely is the opposite of Alba. I thought it was lovely at first but not so much now. I do like Francesca, it floated about our list for a while.

As you probably know alba means sunrise in Spanish. Alma means soul so I prefer that as far as meanings go.

I always love Astrid, but yesterday I heard it bellowed across the park by a dad and the shine wore off somehow.

From your list I would choose Anna.

Alba is my favourite out of your list followed by Astrid. Francesca is lovely but I really dislike Fran so that puts me off. Anna is boring.
