How would you pronounce Rowenna?

I love it but worry she would spend a lifetime correcting everyone.

Hmm, it does look like she'd be correcting people constantly.

It's Rowenna with two 'n's, hence the Row-enn-uh pronunciation.

Oh actually my neighbour is Rowena too, she's in her 60s so its a name of all ages to me.

It's the name of my best friend's daughter, she is 15. Fwiw I don't think she's ever had any major trouble with pronunciation.

How can it be row ee nah? There is only one e? Surely it has to be a short e not a long ee?

Also, no, I don't know any Rowennas/Rowenas, but my best friend is an Edwina and despises it because it gets shortened to "Wee" by everyone (as opposed to the obvious Ed/Eddie). Also, the fact that it has the word wiener in it, essentially...

Row-enna.

The "enna" bit being how you would pronounce McKenna.

Rowena would be row-eena, with the "eena" bit being the same as in the word hyena.
