I don't know how I feel about this name but it is a diminutive of Eleanor which is a very special name for personal reasons. I dislike Nora and can't use Eleanor as its too close to a name I've already used. I absolutely LOVE Elora but 2 out of 3 of my girls have names beginning with E so I'd like to break the trend. Also like it spelt Leora but prefer Liora as it looks prettier IMO. Honest opinions please! A middle name might be Ruby, another special name to me, would it go together? TIA

It's nice.

Another suggestion is the Spanish Leonora, which is pronounced Ley-oh-nora. I met a little one with this name, and it was shortened to Leo (Lay-o).

I prefer leora as I wouldn't know how to say liora. It could be Lie-ora or Lee-ora.

It's very pretty sounding though.

I love it, very pretty and unusual without being silly.
