We like fairly unusual names. Some we have considered are: Celia, Mabel, Estelle, Judith, Agnes, Enid. Any other suggestions for us? Nothing seems quite right so far.

Edith and Hazel were on my list for DD but vetoed by DH. I also like Clementine (Clemmie) and Harriet.

Enid is an old welsh name and is nicer pronounced the welsh way (like Ennid). It would probably just get said as E-nid.

How about Clarissa?

Belinda, haven't heard that one for a long time. Yolanda, Clara, Iris.

I also suggested Isadora and got a ridiculous knock knock joke as a reply which I'm taking as a no. I think it's lovely!

Same problem here! I suggested it but DH said he can just here Basil Fawltey shouting it!
