I don't know why I like it, but I do! Is it ridiculous?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Also a fforde fan. Thursday, Tuesday and Friday in one family :)

RiverTam · 17/07/2017 13:22

Actually, I think it has a ring to it. I don't think I'd ever dare but if you think you, and she, could carry it off, go for it! After all, January Jones doesn't sound so daft anymore.

SapphirePearl · 17/07/2017 13:21

I worked with a Tuesday once but she ended up in some bother.

In the press, nearly every commenter remarked on her name negatively!

thethoughtfox · 17/07/2017 13:19

We had a cat called Tuesday

IsadoraQuagmire · 17/07/2017 12:48

I do love Tuesday Weld, her birth name is Susan though (also love that name actually)
And I know a girl called Tuesday, but that's not her original name either.

TheForgetfulCat · 17/07/2017 08:47

Charlie and Lola writer has a daughter named Tuesday. That would convert me to the idea Smile

Logically it isn't any odder than calling a child April or May or Poppy or Hope or Grace, but it is a word we aren't used to as a name so sounds peculiar. I think you'd get used to it.

LittleIda · 17/07/2017 08:41

I like it.

17caterpillars1mouse · 17/07/2017 08:38

I like it but then I also like September and Winter so fits in with my style

ilivebythesea · 17/07/2017 08:38

I like Tuesday as a name, but only if they were born on a Tuesday. I immediately thought of Tuesday Weld when it was mentioned.

professorvape · 17/07/2017 06:46

I taught a Tuesday a few years ago. After a day or two I didn't even associate the name with the day of the week. I actually don't mind it!

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 17/07/2017 02:37

Yep, it's ridiculous.

Topseyt · 17/07/2017 02:32

Dreadful. Sorry. I would find naming children after days of the week utterly ridiculous.

Dixiestamp · 17/07/2017 02:18

Does anyone remember there was a character called Tuesday Newman, possibly in Bunty comic...am sure I'm not dreaming it!

Defuzzing · 17/07/2017 01:21

I love lamp! Grin
Yeah, call your imaginary child Tuesday

ABitOTT · 17/07/2017 00:52

Love the name Tuesday. In fact it's my favourite day of the week name. Thursday also works well.

LanaDReye · 17/07/2017 00:32

I used to know a Tuesday. She was in her 40s had a DC but bit crazy, always drinking, smoking and going to tanning shops full tangerine look . I can now only link that name with that person.

yourerubberimglue · 17/07/2017 00:30

I love it

WinnieTheWitch50 · 17/07/2017 00:30

I like it!

tararabumdeay · 17/07/2017 00:29

Don't be daft.

Migraleve · 17/07/2017 00:27

I would just think Tuesday's parents lacked sense.

TurquoiseOwl · 17/07/2017 00:25

Awful.

SuperBeagle · 17/07/2017 00:22

Wednesday is better ie Wednesday Addams.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 16/07/2017 23:18

I actually quite like it. If people can be named after months of the year and seasons. Why not days of the week.
Although there is an actor named Tuesday Knight. I mean why would you

Pinkandgreenandblue · 16/07/2017 23:17

sproingly nipples Grin
