Lola

If you use Lola for the kitten do you have other names you both agree on and like for your DD?

daimbar · 15/07/2017 13:24

Lola is definitely our preferred name - DP loves it. DD hasn't arrived yet ... and it just seems to really suit the kitten!

Do you have a name you like as much for your daughter. I think it would be odd to give your cat your favourite name and your daughter the second choice name.

Our rabbit is called Lola. Love the name for either human or animal though!

Kitten.

I can't get The Kinks song out of my head whenever I hear the name!

Me neither! Definitely for the cat.

My DD has a niece called Lola so I think of it as a human name . Mind you she has a kitten called Jeffrey which is also a human name Confused

Have you any other names you love for your DD ? If not I'd go with Lola and call the kitten something else.

I love the name Lola, but I can't get The Kinks song out of my head whenever I hear the name!

Of course if she turns out to be trans you're on to a winner I guess though 😂

Grin no that would be confusing!
I love the name Lola but wondering if it's considered more a pet's name.

Kitten.

Then call the daughter Kitty.

I'm not even joking. Adore!

Works fine as a name for either - just don't give it to them both!
