I'd like DC3 name to work well with other DC names if possible, which are Grace and Felix. We know it's a boy so which from our list do you think works best? Or something else? Thanks Smile

Archie
Arlo
Louis
Monty
Jem (just Jem)
Rowan

Louis is a beautiful name.

I also adore the name Arlo, but only for a dog unforunately. My puppy is called Arlo and the name itself just reminds me of the Disney film The Good Dinosaur (Where I got the name from).

bridgetreilly · 17/07/2017 00:05

In order:

Archie
Louis
Rowan
Monty
Jem (just Jem)
Arlo

I don't mind Jem as a nickname (Jeremy, James) but I wouldn't give it as the proper name. Arlo is awful. Monty is a dog's name. The other three are great.

PeterReidFaePeterheid · 16/07/2017 23:43

Arlo, from your list.

Or Daniel, Fergus and Caspar.

Starlighter · 16/07/2017 22:37

The first three.

PanannyPanoo · 16/07/2017 22:32

Just Albie. Albert was a bit too cool. Think its great though.

TheSeaTheSkyTheSeaTheSkyyyyyy · 16/07/2017 09:23

Arlo.

auntym · 16/07/2017 08:43

Pananny Albie is lovely, would that have been short for Albert or stand alone? Good choice with Jemima!

pilates Edward is lovely but unfortunately we don't like the associated nicknames.

Love them all. Were all on my boys list! along with Dominic, Sebastian and Albie.
Jem is my absolute favourite though.
Had a girl so went with Jemima!

sonlypuppyfat · 15/07/2017 18:15

My friends dad kept rabbits and he call them all Monty.

pilates · 15/07/2017 18:13

Monty out of your list.

How about Edward?

ConstanceCraving · 15/07/2017 14:03

Jem. Really don't like Arlo.

PicaPauAmarelo · 15/07/2017 12:50

I like Louis and Rowan

TartanDMs · 15/07/2017 12:48

Louis. Or Monty. I don't like Arlo, for some reason.

auntym · 15/07/2017 12:46

Thanks everyone so far, your comments are really helpful. I wondered whether Arlo may be "of the moment" so that's interesting that two people have said they feel that too.

I'd say Louis classic and timeless like Grace and Felix

Yorke00 · 15/07/2017 07:36

Be aware that Arlo is a hipster name which will date badly, whilst your other names are classic.

TrainedGiant · 15/07/2017 07:26

Grace An she Felix are classic names, timeless and historic. Arlo and Jem are the opposite of all that. Steer clear. Arlo in particular is a fad and will date v quickly.

I think Louis goes v well.

Imnotatypicalsausage · 15/07/2017 07:23

Rowan goes best. Arlo/Louis is ok but not as strong a name as Grace and Felix. Rowan, two syllables, not too usual. I like it.

auntym · 14/07/2017 23:16

Thanks Jooni Smile

I think Louis fits best, but all work well IMO. Great list OP!

Redpramlady · 14/07/2017 20:59

Arlo works best imo

Sophronia · 14/07/2017 20:55

Louis works best.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 14/07/2017 20:22

Arlo goes best, but Louis is my personal favourite.

Joinourclub · 14/07/2017 20:21

Arlo or Monty.
