Ruined by the god-awful south park for me. I know a Timothy my age and all through secondary and beyond he got Tim-EHHHH.

We did look at a lot of similar names (traditional names that people would know how to spell, but were currently out of favour)

I love it. It didn't even occur to me when we were choosing baby names (DS is now 10!) or it would definitely have made the shortlist.

I really love it but Timmy was my childhood dogs name so don't feel I could ever use it.

pp's rhyme has never entered anyone's head nor has anything been said by anyone else.

I think its such an unusual name for today's kids, we've met lots of adult Tim's but never another young Tim.

Oh no. Tim Tim, nice but dim is all I can think off. And Timmy is the name of the dog.

Love it - and I think it's one of the few names that are nice in all it's forms. Tim/Timmy/Timothy.

I think it's a great classic name! If you'd said Barry I might think it's dated but Timothy is still good.

I like it - Timmy is also cute for a kid. I don't know why more people don't like it on here.
