We have a short one syllable surname and feel that classic names work well/best with it but are open to others that just have a classic feel to them rather than actually being classic or traditional names (classic in case you missed it there! 
). I like long names as you can see because our surname is so short, but shorter ones are ok too.
Any suggestions for both boys and girls welcome!
