I think Penelope and Daisy go beautifully together as well as being thier own :)

17caterpillars1mouse · 11/07/2017 14:12

Love Maggie and like Grace (as long as it's not a middle name)

Please not another Isla

MammieBear · 10/07/2017 13:52

It's nice to have a theme though it can be quite cute so with that in mind:
Violet
Poppy
Ivy
Maisie
Magnolia

If not your thing I think Margaret with Nn Maggie is adorable as they both mean daisy or:
Megan
Penelope (as you like it already)
Susanna
Verity
Cassiopea (Cassie or Pea)

Chloris33 · 10/07/2017 12:03

Penelope or Grace. Not that keen on 'Penny', though.

HeadlessGummyBears · 10/07/2017 11:42

Another vote for Penelope Grace. Daisy and Penny / Daisy and Nelly - both sound lovely imo.

yourerubberimglue · 10/07/2017 04:07

Oh and grace = what if she's not graceful? Awkward grace?

yourerubberimglue · 10/07/2017 04:07

I like Isla and Lila the others are hideous.
Maggie = simpsons
Penelope= pig nose film

27Harper · 10/07/2017 03:47

I love Isla and Lila. Have you thought about Ilona? xx

Twinkletwinkle4 · 09/07/2017 08:27

Mumofthrark we think alike,
I also prefer nelly for short and was thinking
Penelope grace if we went with that option Smile

Lila is probably my favourite. I also like Penny, but don't like Penelope so much.

Mumoftheark · 09/07/2017 08:11

I love Penelope - you could use Nelly day to day, Daisy and Nelly sound lovely together - very granny chic :)
Daisy Penelope and Nelly are all on my list too.
Penelope Grace is perfect

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 09/07/2017 07:18

Yes, to Penny and Daisy.

Twinkletwinkle4 · 08/07/2017 23:49

Good point to the above!!

You don't need names that go together. They are separate people. Penelope is lovely and if you like it, use it.

GinIsIn · 08/07/2017 23:19

Penny and Daisy is lovely.

Twinkletwinkle4 · 08/07/2017 23:11

I am leaning more towards Penelope but I am concerned it doesn't go aswell as a pairing?!

SuperBeagle · 08/07/2017 23:08

As a PP said, Maggie and Daisy are essentially "the same" name. Both are diminutives/shortenings of Margaret. So I wouldn't have a Maggie and a Daisy.

I like Grace and Lila best with Daisy. I like Penelope too, but not sure it "goes" as well with Daisy, if that's something you're concerned about.

pilates · 08/07/2017 22:57

Grace

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 08/07/2017 22:44

I think Maggie.

Bobbiepin · 08/07/2017 22:41

I teach a Daisy who has a little sister named Maggie. Their older sister is Ruby if that helps at all

FaFoutis · 08/07/2017 22:38

I like Grace best.

FizzyCherry · 08/07/2017 22:36

I think I would choose Grace if I already had a Daisy, they seem to fit together well.

There's none I don't like, but I would maybe shorten Penelope to Penny as it's a bit "younger", I think, and easier to say, and it would give her options when she's older.

Funnily enough, even though Daisy is an "old fashioned " name, as in it's been around for hundreds of years, I think it's quite modern and most Daisies I've met have been quite trendy. So Isla and Lila wouldn't clash awfullly.

SimplyNigella · 08/07/2017 22:33

All lovely but my favourites are Maggie and Lila.

Mrsknackered · 08/07/2017 22:31

I like Maggie, Grace and Lila.
I think Maggie just tops it though.

Mrsknackered · 08/07/2017 22:30

Bertrand when was Grace unusual? I'm not being rude, I love it but just wondered when it wasn't considered popular.
