I was just wondering if anyone else has heard or Brooklyn as a girls name, have only heard it as a boys name?

Everyone will think you've been Beckham inspired. Brooke by itself is nicer.

I think of it as a girls' name. 100%.

Brooke is a girls name, as is lynn. I never "got it" as a boys name when Brooklyn Beckham was born. But now, as I haven't heard of anyone else named that, I associate it with BB and therefore a boy's name.

I've met a couple of girls called Brooklyn, probably both in their teens so before the days of Brooklyn Beckham's 'popularity''. I'm not in the UK though.

The 70's singer Donna Summer has a daughter called Brooklyn. Also Brooklyn Decker, American actress.
