I know 3 Arlo's born this year and 1 who is 7!
DS9 and DS7 both have quite common names ... Dd6 doesn't! We've only ever met 1 more but by the sounds of it ... It's becoming more common... I hear it on here lots!

If you're looking for problems... yes it's trendy as previous posters have said. Also if you live in an area where the letter H is dropped it sort of sounds like Harlow (Essex).

That said, I think it's a perfectly OK name. Every name has potential pitfalls.

I don't like it. It's the epitome of trendy and will date awfully. And unless your baby is going to be born wearing flannel, with a moustache and drinking a piccolo latte, it doesn't work.

I know two Arlos born in the last 12 months. Both to parents who consider themselves hipsters.
