Botanical boys names?!

Found so many nature/botanical/whimsical names I love for a girl...such as Poppy, Rose, Hazel, Imogen, Arwen...but we are having a boy!

At the moment I love Oscar James for our little one (with the possibility of Rex, Freddie or Ted) but I'd love to know about any botanical/nature-inspired boys names too? Thanks :)

Leif is a name of Norse origin meaning 'heir' or 'descendant'.

Actual nature names for boys:
Ash
Aspen
Wolf (well, Wulf and its compounds was common enough in Old English)
Forest (but beware the Gump effect)
Flint

Or do what the Welsh have done and use the name of a river. Aled, Alun, Clwyd, Irfon for boys and Alaw, Leri, Aeron for girls are all originally river names. So pick a river in England or Scotland - Lyne, Lowther, Leith, Derwent, Esk, Leven, Rydal - there's hundreds of them.

Frank (frankincense) ;)

ooh Clay like in 13 reasons why (Netflix teen show) , I also think Bailey and Brock sound quite botanical and quite like August which has a naturey feel. I know a Leaf and a Quincey.

River is lovely but maybe too out there for me...it's strange how girls' nature names are so much more common than boys! I know a blogger whose little boy is called Leif (alt. spelling of leaf) and that really suits him. Maybe time to think more outside the box!
