It won't travel well. It's popular in Germany (and presumably some other European countries too), pronounced 'Chastin' in a way assumed to be English, and similar in social associations to Jayden et al in the UK.
How about Julian or Julius?

Shiori · 04/07/2017 03:53

I think it's a little dated, yes.

justinhawkinsnavalfluff · 04/07/2017 02:12

Yes yes oh yes.

Bubblesoup · 04/07/2017 02:01

I like it! Although i like lots of names from the 80s that others consider to be dated.

I think you should use it! It'd very quickly just become the name of your gorgeous wee boy and would lose any connotations with celebrities or being out of date!

WinkyisbackontheButterBeer · 03/07/2017 22:29

It makes me think of a very immature joke that I was told many years ago.

"What do you call a man with a small penis?"

Shame because I actually quite like it but can't separate the two now.

EmmyInTheSticks · 03/07/2017 22:18

Trudeau doesn't really like being called Justin. He has said its not a v presidential name.

Nonetheless I do like the name but it's of a time. The 70s/80s and not probably due a revival yet.

Montsti · 03/07/2017 22:13

I really don't like it...

MikeUniformMike · 02/07/2017 19:36

How about Credible as a middle name?
I'm not mad about it but it is OK. At least it is a change from Harry, Oliver, Jack, Noah, Elliott and Theo.

Sophronia · 02/07/2017 14:34

I think a lot of you are right in that it's too associated with a lot of celebrities / famous people. Trudeau is a good association though! Bieber not so much...

OP posts:
HelenaJustina · 02/07/2017 12:57

But Trudeau is the man... I really like it!

zeebeedee · 02/07/2017 12:50

Bieber
Timberlake
Trudeau (sp? sorry)
Mr Tumble
The Darkness
..... Case
...... Time

sorry, it's a no from me - that is I wouldn't use it - lots of people obviously would/have or there wouldn't be so many connections

Lulue45 · 02/07/2017 12:24

Makes me think of Mr Tumble-oh how I hate that man! (Cue singing 'Justin's House theme tune in my head on repeat)

Giantwhoopsie · 02/07/2017 11:50

Too dated.

Mrsknackered · 02/07/2017 11:39

First thought, The Darkness dad was a superfan

Second thought, Mr Tumble

Neither great connotations!

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 02/07/2017 09:05

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 02/07/2017 07:27

Veronicat · 02/07/2017 06:14

I had a cat called Justin after Justin Hawkins in The Darkness.

PutThatPomBearBack · 02/07/2017 06:04

SorryGrin

GinIsIn · 02/07/2017 05:52

It is dated but not terrible. Unless your surname is Case..... Grin

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 02/07/2017 05:45

It's dated, but I love it

Stopnamechanging · 02/07/2017 04:21

I like it, a change to all the Jacks, Harry's, Oliver, Theo's etc.

KoalaDownUnder · 02/07/2017 03:44

Too dated.

The Justins I know are all 40 and have sisters called things like Lisa and Michelle.

MrsTerryPratchett · 02/07/2017 03:30

Probably having a resurgence in Canada.

The Bieber connotation fights with the Trudeau so I think they cancel each other out Grin

DownUdderer · 02/07/2017 03:27

Don't like this name
