Love it, my nephew is one. Think it's a classic, timeless name that works equally well on small boys and grown men.

It is my favourite boys name and always has been. I always thought I'd have a son called Luke, but I will never because I married someone with a surname that sounds awful with it!

Yes, I have a friend called Luke and he's lovely.

I've never met an unpleasant Luke come to think of it.

No, I really don't. I like the meaning, but not the sound of the name. Very dated, too. Makes me think of the 80's.

I like it but know loads...that wouldn't be a problem for me but maybe for you?? There are 4 out of 12 boys in DS class (7/8 years old). I also know of lots of Luc, Luca & Lucas also popular.

I like it. Simple, sounds nice, can't be shortened, suits a child or an adult

Yes. It's a classic name and really pretty. Simple, easy to say and spell. Travels well. Seems less religious than some other Biblical names.

I've heard of it as a girls' name too, short for Lucinda. Quite like that.

Not really know. It's fairly inoffensive but I don't like the sound of it. I also know loads of them, including at least three under 5yo.

Apparently I was going to be Luke if I had been a boy and it was on the list of names for children I ended up not having. Smile
