Baby boy names too out there?

I'm almost due with my first boy and finding names very hard! DH and I like a few, but I'm wondering if they are just too out there? Our top 3:

Magnus
Franklin
Crosby

Also on our list are some "safer" names which would probably go better with our quite common traditional English girls name for our dd:

Leo
Jesse
Dylan
Finn

Stuck! It was so easy the first time round!

Crosby is awful. And far too similar to Cosby as in Bill the sex offender Cosby.

Magnus and Fanklin are both nice, unusual, but not unheard of. I prefer Franklin and you/he will have the option of Frank or Frankie as a more mainstream nn if Franlin does prove to be too 'out there'.

I also like Fin, Dylan and Leo. All great names imo.

Not keen on Jesse for a boy (but still a million times better than Crosby!).

Ha I didn't realise Crosby was a place! I do live in America and think I've been influenced by the last names as first names trend

I love Magnus if DC 2 had been about we would have used it.

I have a Magnus. Best name ever. Easy to pronounce and unusual enough to be unique and special.

I know a Franklin so it doesn't seem odd to me but I LOVE Jesse for a boy.

Magnus is great. Franklin is a bit American sounding. Crosby - No, it's a place not a baby.
Leo - great. Jesse - a bit wild west or cissy. Dylan - I really don't like this name unless for a 50 yr old Welshman. Finn - lovely but popular.

Basically, Magnus, Leo or Finn are all fine.

Magnus and Franklin are nice, especially like Franklin.

Crosby is just weird, and sound very American-surnamey
