Girls names you like but wouldn't use

Are there any girls names you like but wouldn't use for one reason or another? What kind of things put you off using a name?

I loved charlotte to nick name Charlie but we already have a friend called Charlie so didn't want to use, also liked Sophie but was very common and a lot of Sophie's born around the same time ( turns out the name we used turned out to be popular too). I also love Stella and Florence

Ohhhh so many.

Vanessa- so pretty but feels a bit 80s valley girl.

Cleo/Clio- too cool for school.

Sloane-same as Cleo/Clio.

Cassandra- same as Vanessa.

Chloe- DH veto

Laurel- constantly being asked, "Laura?"

Nora- been vetoed because of the Bug Explorer.

We're having a girl, can you tell?

I love love love Olivia, but it's far too popular.
I love American-sounding names (Addison, Anniston, Quinn, Cassidy...) but feel as though they just sound 'chavvy' here.

Other names I like can't use for various reasons include -

I won't be having one anyway, but girls names I love the sound of but probably wouldn't have used as I'd go for something clearer and more classic. Apart from anything else we have a very long surname, plus we are a multi lingual family, and travel a lot, so need to have a name that half the world can pronounce!

@Dixiestamp I also LOVE Kennedy. But I really do think you need to be American to pull it off. I would be very self conscious introducing my daughter as Kennedy where I live.

Names I like but not quite brave enough to use (as first name):
-Mirabel (I would consider this, maybe, if my son weren't called Gabriel - together the names sound too much!)

-Ianthe (I might just about have indulged this one if DH hadn't vetoed it)

Ah well it's too late now @hophop333 I'm not planning any more babies. One of my children's names is in a song, but fairly obscure and only her IT teacher ever sings it to her.

@WildCherryBlossom as if anyone in this generation or the next is going to think of the Tom Jones song! More likely to be the Plain White T's song but even that is now 12 years old!

In any case so many names feature in songs I can't see what the issue is?!

Too unusual: Morven, Cicely
Too well-used: Olive,
Used by friends or family: Ellen, Lucy

I'd have loved an Ursula after Life After Life (currently in the process of naming a tiny DD and feeling sad about letting that one go).

Philippa, Penelope - surname starts with P and these names are just too much.
Arabella, Annabel - already 2 As in the family so don't want another.

Candida. Beautiful name and i knew a lovely girl called it years ago, but too much yeast.

I secretly really love the name Delilah. But the Tom Jones song..... I could't do that to a child. But I'll probably call a pet Delilah one day.

Arielle or Ariella are beautiful & popular in Italy but again, might sound a bit weird with an accent

Shame Rafferty is seen as too posh, that's a good name. Raff, Raffy Grin

Also like Sasha or Sacha but prob wouldn't use

I love french names like Sabine & Celine but they'd sound a bit stupid on a child with a regional accent! My fave is actually Verdi Smile

Nova and Phoenix - OH doesn't like them.
Lily - too popular
Raven - 1st Daughter's middle name is Rae
Kari - risk that it would be pronounced like Carrie.
Arrow - loved it but now just makes me think of the TV show.
Melody - really dislike nn Mel
