In Australia (and it could well be elsewhere) there's a brand of Sya milk called 'Vitasoy'....I'd have too strong an association with that to use the name Vita.

I love it. Wanted to use it if I'd had a girl. It is Italian for 'life' and pronounced 'Veeta'.

I don't mind it when thinking of it as a name in itself/when said out loud. But if I'm looking at it on paper I'd be cautious of the vitamin connotation if that makes sense?

Jooni It is pronounced as veeta in modern Greek. Beta is the classical Greek pronunciation.

Unadon 2nd letter of Greek alphabet is beta. Hence "alphabet" (alpha, beta...)

Would you all know to pronounce "VEE-ta"? Bit worried it would be read as "VIE-ta" or "VIT-a" because of vitamin (overthinking?)

My first thought was biotics.

Having been bullied at school for an unusual name if not do this, but if you love the name and want something unusual it's pretty and elegant.
