The most children with the same name in the same class

Everyone seems to worry about popularity, so what name have you known the most of in the same class?

Growing up I had six (!) Daniels in my class, so over a third of the boys. There were two in the adjacent class too.

I've also known two separate classes with three Isabelles each who were all Izzy.
Three Jacks.
Three Freyas too which is odd as it's not that popular.

I went ot posh secondary boarding school. In our boarding house of 60 girls there were 12 Carolines.
Not one was known as Caroline!

then on my floor in the hall of residence at Uni, every second room was sarah, seven of them all together.

When ds started secondary - grammar school in naice town, they called out the names of the boys to hand out the welcome packs to parents, it literally went:
Oliver, Thomas, Thomas, Tom, Ollie, Oliver, Tom, Ollie,

(ds isn't eiter Tom or Oliver fortunately)

When I was at school Matthew and Samantha were very popular, with multiples of both in my class of about 30.

I worked at a company where across one floor/department there were so many Dave's that they had nicknames. 10 years later it would totally confuse newcomers being referred to one of them by their nickname.

In infant school Daniel was popular for ds1, for ds2 it seems to be Ellie. In dd's nursery class there are two Isabella's, and Isabelle and an Isobel... there are only about 10 of them! Both Isabella's have surnames starting with the same letter.

When I was at school there were multiple Seans and Stephens, so much that most of them were known by their surnames. Loads of Laura's and Sarah's too.

At my sons nursery there don't seem to be any children with the same names, which is nice and avoids any confusion.

My child knows four Georgia's
There were four Toms and three Harry's in her old class.

DS has only other in his year with his name - there were none in the entire school previously.

DD says she has never even met anyone with her name!

Most common boys name in school with my DS has been James, with many Jamies and Jims.

Also William, Thomas, Luke, Henry ( including Harry).

Girls are more varied. There have been a few Jessicas and Olivias, but not in numbers.

My daughter had 4 Oliver's in her class. Currently there are 4 Harry's in my son's class and 3 of them have the same surname initial so they have to be known by their full names.

Ds's name not overly used. Only one in school at times for example. I felt for his swimming teacher when 3/4 boys in the group had ds's name!!

Lots of Lucys and Sarahs at my school in the 80s, also Catherine/Katherine/Kathryns, Louises and Helens.

My DSs are at an all boys school. There are several Williams in every year group - its definitely the most popular name. DS1 has three Lucases and three Williams, DS2 has two Daniels and two Christophers (neither of which are hugely popular names right now).

At nursery literally all the girls were called Amelia, Ava, Ruby, Scarlett, Isabelle/a or Lily.

Born 90-
Matthew, Daniel and James were popular boys names in my class.
Elizabeth, Jennifer and Emma were popular girls names.

In my dds reception class there are 2xFinleys and 3xAvas.

Re splitting them up, at DS's school I think they do try in reception, but when there are three Izzys and two classes, it's inevitable there will be two together. After reception the classes are regularly mixed up, and they take children's friendships into account, so it can happen that all three Izzys are in the same class.

There were six girls with my name in my class all through primary school, and one of them shared a surname with me, too.

In my five year old's reception class of 22 there are no less than four Harrisons and a Harry.

DS1 - Y6 - has two Harrys, 2 Toms and 2 Jacks in his class. Also 2 Evies, 2 Isabelles and 2 Aishas.

DS2 - Reception - has 2 Irises, 2 Oscars, 2 Maxs and 2 Sids in his class. Every baby boy I've met in the last couple of years seems to be called Benjamin, I've met about six.

I think of eve, Olivia and lily as this generations equivalent Sarah, Claire and Joanne.
