Everdeen??? Girls baby name.

Hello All,
I’m a newbie to Mums net.
My husband is absolutely adamant he wants our daughter to be called Everdeen, he loves the name. I’m a little less sure, I can’t find any evidence of it being even a name or being used as a name. What do people think? Is it crazy to pick a name that has been made up?

Maybe some better mileage out of "Evergreen" instead?

He's obviously a HG fan, but it's a bit full on to saddle your DD with that for life IMHO.

Evelyn, Evalina, Eve, Eva, etc, all names not based on some dreadful and unpleasant movies with whatserface in them

Surname of Katniss from The Hunger Games but apart from that I've never heard it! Lots of people would probably think she was named after Katniss Everdeen but if you don't mind that then fire away Smile
