Lily or Daisy

Help please.

I'm sort of swaying towards Daisy as there seems to be too many Lily-Mae's etc.

I don't know tho. Opinions please.

I have a Lily, so I choose that (although it's nowhere near as popular where I live as it is in the UK, and its popularity here is decreasing each year).

But I love Daisy. I think Daisy seems to be more divisive in real life though - Lily seems to be quite universally liked.

Daisy. I do like both though

DramaAlpaca · 25/06/2017 21:20

Neither are my style, but Lily is the nicer one of the two & like others have already said it works better on an adult.

Daisy is too twee & cutesy for me.

I know a daisy-mae whose sisters are lily-mae, poppy and blossom. Once she started with the flower theme she thought she might as well carry on! They are always called Days and Lil so it depends if you like the shortenings although both are popular round here

Bobbybobbins · 25/06/2017 20:45

I like both too but agree that Lily is better when an adult.

PurpleDaisies · 25/06/2017 20:43

Both lovely.

Have just realised I hardly ever say anything positive on here. Smile

Sophronia · 25/06/2017 20:42

Not overly keen on either, but I agree that Lily works a bit better on a grown woman.

ColourfulOrangex · 25/06/2017 20:42

I know 6 Lily's in the infant side of my sons school (5 of these are Lily-Mays) and I only know one daisy who is in her late 20s so I prefer Daisy just because it is less popular

RideOn · 25/06/2017 20:39

Lily I prefer

Girliefriendlikesflowers · 25/06/2017 20:38

I think they are both lovely names, I love flower names though!

bridgetreilly · 25/06/2017 20:34

I think Lily works better for grown-up women, though I agree it's very popular at the moment.
