I would go with Gray. My friends sister has just called her son Wolf and I have to admit finding it a bit odd every time I see posts on Facebook.

There's a film called the Grey about a wolf.

Between those two, I'd go with Alexander Gray (spelt this way).

Alexander Wolf is silly.
Alexander Grey is dangerously close to Alexander the Great, unless of course that's what floats your boat.

If it's gonna be Grey it should be Gray
