What do you think?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Éliette is a French feminine name, a form of the male name Élie.

Elliette is a modern English variation.

OSETmum · 15/06/2017 19:23

I like it, it sound so more feminine to me anyway!

PunkrockerGirl · 15/06/2017 19:19

If I'd had a daughter she'd have been called Bruce Wink

disneykid · 15/06/2017 14:38

I thought this was a joke. If not, I'm naming my boy Selena when he gets here Hmm

midsomermurderess · 15/06/2017 14:33

Elliot is not a unisex name.

llangennith · 15/06/2017 05:26

How about John? Or David?

Pemba · 15/06/2017 04:11

Just no -boys' name.
What is it with people at the moment wanting to name their daughters boys' names, surnames (Taylor etc. and Slade -yuck). And at the other extreme Lilly-Fifibelle or similar, as if she's a pet poodle or bunny rabbit.

Just give an actual first name suitable for an adult female human FGS.

KoalaDownUnder · 15/06/2017 03:56

No. Because it's a boys' name.

Sophronia · 15/06/2017 01:06

I actually think it's nicer on a girl.

Rainatnight · 15/06/2017 00:19

Sorry.

Elliot - for a girl?
UsaNayme · 15/06/2017 00:09

I would describe it as very American in style

Notmyrealname85 · 15/06/2017 00:08

Wasn't there a character in Scrubs called this, and she was only called it as her parents had wanted a son?

Anyway... no!

Shad0w87 · 14/06/2017 23:55

Would say no but obviously your decision to make Smile

Myu5ername · 14/06/2017 23:49

I love it and nearly used it for my DD. In the end I decided against it as she would have the same name (incl surname) as the scrubs character

Calyrical · 14/06/2017 23:34

Eleanor and Elinor are beautiful girls' names ...

ApplesOranges · 14/06/2017 23:33

I didn't say I liked the name just that I had come across one...sorry!

user1497292938 · 14/06/2017 23:24

i like it

smudgedlipstick · 14/06/2017 23:23

Love it, this is on my list if I have a girl 😍

JessieDoops · 14/06/2017 23:15

If you like it... Do it.

HerOtherHalf · 14/06/2017 23:06

Elliette is not a name.

It is if someone calls their child it. There's no rule against new or original names. There you go OP, you'd be the first, maybe even start a trend.

SuperBeagle · 14/06/2017 22:57

Elliette is not a name. Confused

DaniellaRose · 14/06/2017 21:47

@PunkrockerGirl to be fair, I think Elliette is a French girls name?

Thank you, guess that's a no!

OP posts:
Sugarpiehoneyeye · 14/06/2017 21:46

How about Ellis

PunkrockerGirl · 14/06/2017 21:40

Awful.
And Elliette Ffs there's always one poster who comes up with an even grimmer version than the OP's original suggestion Confused

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 14/06/2017 21:40

I absolutely adore the idea of it, but would be reluctant to do it myself. It would be really cute though!
