Nicknames for Sebastian

Hello all,

Wondering about the name Sebastian.... I love it but not so in love with Seb. OR Bas!

Does anyone know of any other shortened nicknames for a Sebastian?

That's the problem with Sebastian. Nice strong name, but the nicknames sound very weak especially Seb, Sebbie, Basty... But with 3 syllables it's quite long so may get shortened.

Maybe best to choose another name?

If you dont' like Seb, steer away from Sebastian. Even if you give him a different NN, the chances are other people will shorten it to Seb regardless

I wanted Oliver for DS, but DH hates Olly, and it was probably inevitable that it would come up as a NN at some point in his life
