Quite like Arwen and Galadriel... dunno if boy or girl yet but love these names. Any other LOTR names?

I like Eomer for a boy and Eowyn for a girl :)

Hobbitch · 07/06/2017 17:47

I love Arwen and Elanor. For a boy I love Fëanor and Finarfin but would never dare use them.

Justjibberish · 07/06/2017 17:44

creatureofthenight Smilespoilsport, personally I thought Bill (the pony) was pushing it. Mind you, this comes from someone who had Dickon and Troy vetoed as names

Creatureofthenight · 07/06/2017 16:03

You can't call a child Sauron!

mollyminniemo · 07/06/2017 16:02

LOVE Arwen, please use if its a girl!

weaselscanfly · 07/06/2017 09:54

I'm not up on LOTR or GOT at all...but 2 of our boys are called Rowan & Torin (means 'Chief' in Irish) & have been told it's quite Tolkienesque!

Justjibberish · 07/06/2017 09:14

Tom, Sam, Bill, Sauron, Rosie, Goldberry, Haldir, Belladonna, Lúthien Tinúviel.
I may know more about this than is good for me

Creatureofthenight · 07/06/2017 09:01

Google tells me Rohan is both a Sanskrit and a Celtic name!

AdaColeman · 06/06/2017 22:47

I wanted to use Frodo but it was vetoed.

hollieberrie · 06/06/2017 22:45

Merry and Pippin? Grin
Faramir?
Eowyn is lovely.

SirNiallDementia · 06/06/2017 22:42

Theoden
Anarion
Curios

Teachervoice · 06/06/2017 22:24

Thorin.
If I didn't think we'd be mercilessly ridiculed, we would definitely choose this name for baby due in Nov (if it's a boy.)

We don't have the nerve.

Soslowmo · 06/06/2017 22:11

I know an Indian Rohan who is 10.

BellMcEnd · 06/06/2017 22:10

Arwen is lovely.

I also like Orlando which obvs isn't LOTR but for Orlando Bloom who was luscious as Legolas.

Not so keen on Treebeard or Gollum Grin

ZacharyQuack · 06/06/2017 22:08

Hodor

ShuttyTown · 06/06/2017 22:07

Oops sorry, that's GOT not LOTR!

ShuttyTown · 06/06/2017 22:07

Khaleesi

shamoffour · 06/06/2017 22:06

Gandalf?

Creatureofthenight · 06/06/2017 21:57

I thought Rohan was Celtic?

Salmotrutta · 06/06/2017 21:57

I knew someone years ago who called their daughter Arwen.

I think that works but Galadriel is possibly a step too far.

I think Rohan is an Indian name isn't it?

SweetDee33 · 06/06/2017 20:29

Elanor or lothLorien, love them both

Creatureofthenight · 06/06/2017 20:27

I know a boy called Rohan.
Eowyn is pretty.
