Opinions please

Do you pronounce Arielle, Arry-elle like Harry or Air-e-elle like the little mermaid?

I read it in Sebastian's voice too. Two different names but they way Sebastian pronounces Ariel is definitely how I see that.

And yes, "Under the sea" is now in my head...

MiddleClassProblem · 02/06/2017 00:02

Anybody else have Under the Sea stick in their head now?

SuperBeagle · 01/06/2017 23:10

Arry-elle like Harry.

Ariel would be like an aerial. Although I knew a girl named this who pronounced it ah-ree-al instead of air-ee-al.

I can just here Sebastian the crab saying ariel in his dodgy accent

GuinefortGrey · 01/06/2017 22:58

Another vote for Sebastian's way Smile

MikeUniformMike · 01/06/2017 22:51

Arry-elle.

Cheers for that @MerryMarigold.

loveslipstick · 01/06/2017 22:42

Erm the only way I can imagine that being said is how Sebastien the crab says Ariel in The Little Mermaid. Sorry 🙈

MerryMarigold · 01/06/2017 22:40

The little mermaid is the same as the washing powder.

I would say Arry-ell for your spelling, but not sure about the Essex continent.

Mustang27 · 01/06/2017 22:36

Like Sebastian does

MiddleClassProblem · 01/06/2017 22:26

I would prob say like the little mermaid but would say it Ahhry Elle like Sebastian in his voice a bit like I can't help but call Henry the hoover Enry

Rockaby · 01/06/2017 22:20

Arry Elle

UnconsideredTrifles · 01/06/2017 21:51

The one I know is arr-ee-ella. She's Dutch though, so that may make a difference.

UsaNayme · 01/06/2017 21:51

Arry-elle

Hulababy · 01/06/2017 21:48

The Little Mermaid is Ariel. - air-re-el

Arielle - probably a-ri-elle (short /a/ sound at start)

HerRoyalFattyness · 01/06/2017 21:48

Arry-elle

SailAwayWithMeHoney · 01/06/2017 21:45
