Hi all,
I'm 20 weeks pregnant and we found out at the scan this week we're having a little girl! We're over the moon and so excited as we already have a little boy so will be lovely to have one of each.
We named our son Daley as we wanted something unusual which we're unlikely to come across when he goes to school etc. We absolutely love the name and it's perfect for him.
We want an equally unusual name for our little girl, but a beautiful and either girly or American-sounding name if possible. We had Leia at the top of our list last time if we were having a girl but I'm not 100% on it anymore. We have a few other names we like but can't really agree on one together and don't feel as though we've found 'the one' yet.
Any suggestions welcome please - something unusual and pretty.
Thank you! xx

I think a one syllable girls' name goes well with Daley as the brother. It sort of reverses the typical gender sounds, the boy ends in 'ey' and the girl is short, punchy.

Daley and Lark
Daley and Wren
Daley and Bree
Daley and Shae
Daley and Drew

Or October, January, August are all nice - might sound a bit off with Daley though..

I love the name Wednesday ( know it's from the Adams family but still love it) I have a 4 year old called Wren and am 6 months pregnant with a boy ( but not telling you the name !)

I'd stick with the multi event theme and go for
Brianne or Katarina

Or Zara, I haven't heard of anyone under the age of 30 called that.
