Stanley. I love it.

Rockaby · 22/05/2017 21:40

Oh yes I love Stanley Roscoe! I don't really like Roscoe as a first name, but it's a very cool middle name.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 22/05/2017 21:21

I like Stanley Roscoe, cool !

Rockaby · 22/05/2017 20:52

Stanley Michael
Stanley Logan
Stanley Callum

All lovely^^

TheTartOfAsgard · 22/05/2017 20:50

I have a stanley. He's 13 and I get nothing but lovely comments about his name. Ds2 is due imminently and will be either Leonard or Vincent.

From your list I like Micky best.

muffinwaggon · 22/05/2017 20:19

@PencilsInSpace haha no, I don't think I'm that crazy! Haha. Thank you.

Thank you for all the replies, the really are helping. OH is away at the moment so will talk to him when he gets back on the weekend. Glad everyone has said they like at least one name on the list.

Definitely prefer Stanley compared to others now. When my dad suggested it, I liked it but thought it was a bit of an old mans name (only because I've never met one before and Stan on Eastenders was ancient haha) but still thought it was a good name. Really do like it, and confident now knowing a lot of others agree x

PencilsInSpace · 22/05/2017 20:00

Stanley is lovely.

I thought from the title you were proposing to call your DS Boy Grin I was coming on to say Boy works better as a middle name. DS was called Little Boy for nearly 6 weeks.

muffinwaggon · 22/05/2017 19:57

Also another question while I'm here.. middle names? Is there any on the list that go together? Or shall we pick something else (name after someone in the family/something with meaning)

Last name will begin with T If that makes any difference.

Isn't Eden (eh-den) a jewish girl's name?

muffinwaggon · 22/05/2017 19:55

I really really do like Eden, but it's very girly isn't it? And now can't get the garden of Eden out of my head either haha. Don't want people thinking I'm stupid for choosing the name.

Glad there are a lot of nice comments about the name Stanley.

Love Stan/Stanley so so much.

DH didn't but that's the only reason DS2 isn't Stanley.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 22/05/2017 19:38

Callum.

BadToTheBone · 22/05/2017 19:37

I've never met a Stan/Stanley I didn't like. My friend has a 18 yo Stanley ds and he's really great.

Sophronia · 22/05/2017 19:34

Stanley or Eden

Thatextrainch · 22/05/2017 19:34

Callum

I know a little Troy who is truly adorable and pulls off his name with panache

user1492287253 · 22/05/2017 19:26

I think Troy is a lot to live up to!

Northgate · 22/05/2017 19:21

I love Stanley.

I used to work with a (male) Eden. There were lots and lots of people who said "like the Garden of Eden?" or "like the river?" the first time they met him, which clearly irritated him.

muffinwaggon · 22/05/2017 19:16

Thank you, Stanley is Defo one of my favourites on the list. I don't know any others, and it's still a nice, 'normal' name.

I'm sure it will be easier and il be able to know what he should be called once I've seen his little face! Stanley and Logan are definitely front runners at the minute.

If he is not here yet and you have a few on the list wait until he is born. It all may become clear

voobylooby · 22/05/2017 19:14

Stanley clear favourite for meSmile
