Oh, and we also shortlisted Margot and Cecilia if that helps at all.

Swearwolf · 20/05/2017 08:40

Nora is really nice! But I have to add a vote for sylvie, it's my youngest's name and I really love it, it suits her so well and has had so many compliments Smile

I know 2 Anyas but both children of friends so couldn't call her that. 2 Eliza's and 5 Freya's! All beautiful names

Amazed that you know so many girls called Anya. My DGD is 17 so been in school for 12 years and has never come across another girl with the same name. She is in a lot of clubs and dramatic societies and still no Anyas - neither does it appear in the long lists provided for this thread. I know one or two Freyas and Eliza could be shortened to Ellie/Ella and there are definitely loads of those!

StAlphonzospancakebreakfast · 17/05/2017 16:09

Love Anya, Freya and Eliza but know too many children with those names! Clementine is going on the list, along with a few others. Pleased that Nora is getting a good response, I thought everyone would hate it!

Nora/Norah is top of our list if we have another girl. We currently have a Hazel and have considered Rosalie too.

Catrina1234 · 17/05/2017 12:47

No one has mentioned my beautiful grand-daughter's name............ANYA. Very unusual and pretty.

We had a couple of yours on our list, I loved Maeve but DH was worried it would be a life of misspelling/mispronunciation, I also loved Aoife but we decided against it for the same reason. Other names on our list included;

Etta
Isla

Nell
Willa

I love Tess as well, I find it a bit hard to imagine a baby Tess though, a teenage Tess definitely
