So stuck! Confused

I think these are the final two GrinFlowers

I love Gabriella, but like Gabrielle even more. I like Bree as a nn, but if you really hate Gabby then maybe Gabriella is not a good choice...

Naomi is nice too. How do you feel about Nay as a nn? The only Naomi I know gets shortened to Nay.

LilacLillies · 09/05/2017 09:21

We prefer nigh-omi.

We were originally going to go with either Grace or Eva - shorter so they wouldn't be shortened - but apparently they're really overused at the moment.

Nigh-omi, or Nay-omi? The Naomi I know is the latter - nickname, Nay. You may not plan to shorten your child's name... but it is likely to be shortened, nonetheless...

Both are lovely. Naomi has the slight edge for me as it's less well used. And I prefer unusual names.

Both are lovely!

I like Gabriella but prefer Gabby to Ella

LilacLillies · 09/05/2017 09:13

We wouldn't plan to shorten Naomi, Gabriella to 'Ella' IF we decided to shorten. Smile

Justmade - the nn could be an issue for each - 'Gabby' or 'Nomey' GrinSad

We have a Gabriella in the family known as Bella.

Naomi

Justmadeperfectflapjacks · 09/05/2017 09:09

Maybe think what nn each would have. I know a Nomes and it's awful!!
