middle name that honours MIL but to go with...

We love the name Roisin (pronounce Ro - sheen). Would like to use my late MIL's name 'Rita' as a middle name but I don't think it goes. So looking at variations but not got on Margaret either.

Would love some thoughts on:

Roisin Rita
Roisin Margaret
Roisin Marita

OH doesn't really mind if we don't use his mum's name (though I think it would be nice if we did)

If not I'm thinking:

Roisin Orla

Our surname is short so I think a longer middle name sounds better.

I think of your choices Rosin Margaret sounds best.

I like Rosin Marguerita better though.

Or do as pp suggested as give DD the same middle name as MIL. Or is there a name that you know MIL loved? You could use that so that MIL has had a little say in the name of her Granddaughter.

Tbh I think you should either use the person's name or choose another name unconnected to them. Using a name that's not her name but sounds a bit like her name seems a bit half-hearted.
I think Roisín Rita sounds fine.

I love alliterative names so like Roisin Rita. But even if you don't like the flow, really, how often will both names be used? Is it often enough not to choose it?

If you'd prefer to stick with your original plan I think the best fit is Roisin Margaret.

Did Mil have a middle name? Just thinking you could honour her by making your dd's initials the same?

I think it's a really lovely sentiment but Roisin Rita is a mouthful
