She is 6 weeks today and we had an appointment booked, but it was cancelled and rescheduled for Monday.

It's my surname that's the problem! I love nature/colour names... But my surname is Forest (not even spelt like the name version!)

My son is Noah and I almost didn't go with it because I thought "know a forest?" but just went with it and it hasn't been an issue (he is now 5) but I can't have a nature name/colour name and then Forest.

I'm not particularly keen on names that have lots of nicknames (Elizabeth, Catherine, etc.) and like names that are popular, unfortunately!

I think Darcy is my only choice... It's okay, but I don't love it. However, I hate the Darcey spelling, same with Maisy, I like it, but hate the Maisie spelling :(

Thank you!

Don't rule out nature/ flower names if those are your favourites, OP.

How about Gaia? It's a 'nature' name as it's the goddess of the earth, but isn't quite as obvious as something like Willow/ Summer etc. Would pair nicely with Noah too.

Or Iris, goddess of the rainbow and a pretty flower?

Not Zoella. That is a name which is going to date very badly.

I really like Louisa Forest.

OdinsLoveChild · 28/04/2017 22:34

Estelle Forest?
Celeste Forest?

I think both of these mean Star.

@AuderyF I totally meant I'd never seen it spelt 'Darcey' ahaha doh!! Grin

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 28/04/2017 20:19

silence if OP was worried about Know a Forest with Noah, it can only be comedic to have I own a Forest with Iona Grin

R00tat00tt00t · 28/04/2017 20:12

I instantly thought of Amber (Forest) when read the OP and several other posters have mentioned it too. I think that would be a lovely name. Strong but elegant, quite timeless too I think.
Also like Lucy, Esther, Miriam, Isla, Zara, Frances/Francesca?

MsRose31 · 28/04/2017 20:04

Oh and Amber ties in with your like of nature names Smile

MsRose31 · 28/04/2017 20:04

I agree with the posters above who like Amber Forest. It flows nicely, there are no phonological problems with it.. and my daughter is called Amber and I absolutely love it and people compliment her name all the time!

SilenceOfThePrams · 28/04/2017 20:03

Iona.

I think it goes beautifully with Noah and with forest.

strawberrypenguin · 28/04/2017 20:03

I think you can have Darcy or Maisy they don't look 'wrong'
If you like nature names then Clementine Forest sounds good or Hebe?

minniebear · 28/04/2017 20:03

Another vote for Heidi Forest! Also love Elizia Forest or Maia Forest.
