I love it. It's my DDs middle name and everyone comments on how lovely it is. It's a very bouncy name to pronounce. We say it NayOhMe.
I know 3 other adult Naomis and they're all fab women.

I like NAY- omy, but not Na-OH- mee, so I wouldn't use it.

I've never met a pleasant Naomi, so am probably unreasonably biased (sorry lovely Naomi's, I'm sure you're out there). But I do also think there is something whiny about the sound of it, whichever way it is pronounced.

Yes.
Was high on my list for DD as my DSs have biblical names.
But DH doesn't like any girls names it.

My oh decided he loves this name and I really want to love it too but I cannot decide if it's pronounced Nay-omi or Ny-omi

Yes, I really like it.

There seem to be several slightly different ways to pronounce it though which would put me off. I say "nay-OH-mee", but I've heard "NAY-uh-mee" and "NYE-oh-mee" too.

I love Noemí (Spanish) and Noémie (French) as well. It's a beautiful name and never overused.

I've only known one and in high school was told 'your name is I Moan backwards... etc' every single day. That would put me off...
