I love it. It's my DDs middle name and everyone comments on how lovely it is. It's a very bouncy name to pronounce. We say it NayOhMe.
I know 3 other adult Naomis and they're all fab women.

gaggiagirl · 28/04/2017 17:14

Yes. But if I hear it pronounced NYE omi I will explode in rage.

BertrandRussell · 28/04/2017 17:11

I like NAY- omy, but not Na-OH- mee, so I wouldn't use it.

SissySpacekAteMyHamster · 28/04/2017 17:09

I have a Naomi in the family and she is the sweetest most caring little girl, she's a ray of sunshine.

Mrsknackered · 28/04/2017 14:55

Yes I love it

raspberryblush23 · 28/04/2017 12:42

Yes but I'm biased Wink.

MsRinky · 28/04/2017 12:40

I've never met a pleasant Naomi, so am probably unreasonably biased (sorry lovely Naomi's, I'm sure you're out there). But I do also think there is something whiny about the sound of it, whichever way it is pronounced.

Skp87 · 28/04/2017 06:46

Should add, I was surprised it's not in top 100 names - it's not that unusual I thought lol

Really really don't actually,sorry.

isittheholidaysyet · 27/04/2017 20:54

Yes.
Was high on my list for DD as my DSs have biblical names.
But DH doesn't like any girls names it.

bibbitybobbityyhat · 27/04/2017 20:51

Yes! Fabulous name.

IllMetByMoonlight · 27/04/2017 20:50

Such a pretty name. One of a few which I still get little pangs of regret for not using, despite it being in my top 5. Lovely!

Riderontheswarm · 27/04/2017 20:43

Yes!

Marlboroandmalbec34 · 27/04/2017 20:42

My oh decided he loves this name and I really want to love it too but I cannot decide if it's pronounced Nay-omi or Ny-omi

Jooni · 27/04/2017 18:36

Yes, I really like it.

There seem to be several slightly different ways to pronounce it though which would put me off. I say "nay-OH-mee", but I've heard "NAY-uh-mee" and "NYE-oh-mee" too.

I love Noemí (Spanish) and Noémie (French) as well. It's a beautiful name and never overused.

user1459464195 · 27/04/2017 17:42

Love it and it's my top pick for a future DD.

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 27/04/2017 17:23

I've only known one and in high school was told 'your name is I Moan backwards... etc' every single day. That would put me off...

Branleuse · 27/04/2017 17:18

i really like it

Ilovewillow · 27/04/2017 17:08

Lovely!

Skp87 · 27/04/2017 16:53
