Girl's name suggestions, please

We just haven't found a name that "feels" right. We need to register DC no later than 3 days after his or her birth (not in the UK...), which is probably why it feels as if time is running away...

The name should sound nice to Scottish ears (we're moving to Scotland for work related reasons).

DD's name is Clarissa. Thank you very much in advance

(Btw, I namechanged for this because I wanted to mention DD's name)

Thanks. Love that name... (but maybe more of a middle name, due to pronunciation issues. Obviously not in Scotland but yeah....)

Ojoj Love some of your boy's names but I must admit, except for Isadora (which I love) they don't work in my accent. Honestly, I'd upload a vocal of me pronouncing them if I knew how... But Katinka and especially Harriet sound so harsh in my accent. But thank you so much :) Sorry.

I don't like Sadie, sorry. It's a version of Sarah, right? I know a Suri, which is apparently a Yiddish version of Sarah. I like Suri but it's a bit too much Cruise, I think.

I actually wanted Miranda nn Meera. But apparently my pronounciation sounds like "myra" which DH hated because of that... awful "woman".

Erin is nice. But I think it means Ireland. And I've never even been to Ireland... So, Idl.

I like Eleanor and Fiona is gorgeous. Is it too "shrek"?

That does sound so so lovely. I think that has to be the middle name, if not the first (and if not a DS Grin Poor boy, named Roslin... Reminds me of the Cash song). It would be like a subtle theme, seeing as DD's middle name is a Lily-name....

QuietName where we are in Scotland we would pronounce is Roz-a-Lyn but with a soft sounding z if that makes sense?

Have always loved it as I went to school with a very kind, clever, cheery, pretty girl called Rosalyn :)

We don't need Scottish "Scottish" (like uber Scottish). But it should sound nice in a Scottish accent/not be offensive in Scotland/for some reason very prone to ridicule etc... I really like MArgaret for example...

I like Roslyn it reminds me of Roslin Castle, a song I used to play on the violine when I was little and still love very very much. But I actually don't know how to pronounce it Blush

Exactly! Clarissa sounds very strong (at least with my accent...). And it's really different to sound a name that's also strong, different enough and that I also love... (unfortunately)
