Pretty sure these are my final 2 choices

Kitty
Violet

Which one and why? i dont want there to be multiple people in her class / friend group with this name so thats why im swayed towards Kitty as violet is climbing. All opinions welcomeSmile

I prefer Kitty if she has the option of using something more grown-up when she's older.

Not keen on Violet, sorry.

say i put a fuller name on the birth certificate but only use if she wants when older, but we all call her Kitty...do you like the name? or do you still prefer Violet?

Violet. It's beautiful for a child or adult.

Kitty is cutesy and more of a nickname

GirlcalledJames · 25/04/2017 19:40

Kitty

MollyHuaCha · 25/04/2017 19:34

Violet. Smile
Kitty is a cute name for someone under the age of nine, but it's not a serious name for a grown woman. If you choose Kitty, I'd suggest making the real name Katherine or Katrina with nn of Kitty.

bridgetreilly · 25/04/2017 19:29

Violet.

Mrsknackered · 25/04/2017 19:26

I looove Violet.
I think I like Kitty but never quite sure. I know 2 lovely teenage Kitty's though so I have positive view of it.

Kitty if it's a nickname. If it's a stand alone name then I'll go for Violet

Thatextrainch · 25/04/2017 19:19

Kitty is fine if nn for Katherine otherwise its not a name I'd want as a 21 year old.

Violet is one of my favourite ever names though
