I have just come across someone who proudly bears the name of Buckmaster de Wolf. It is the awesomest name I have ever heard! Does anyone have any similar awesome names?

Yes but Dilly you & I both know the GGC is batshit crazy. I say that as a fan of when she was pointy toe shoe factory.

Elmersnewfriend · 27/04/2017 20:03

We obviously occupy the same corporate world MontyPython!

GlitteralHood · 27/04/2017 13:23

Someone I know calls himself Perry 7. He's an academic so when his work is cited it's like "7 argued that..."

He's a cunt but good name Grin

QuimReaper · 27/04/2017 13:22

@lucysnowe I really want to refer back to this thread so I requested for it to be moved out of _Chat, I hope you don't mind! Grin

The original Engelbert Humperdinck had a magnificent moustachio [completely missing the purpose of this thread]

GnatsChuff · 27/04/2017 11:57

It's a fabulous name! Even if he wasn't!

GivenupontheGarden · 27/04/2017 10:28

Anyone mentioned Engelbert Humperdinck yet?

To be fair, 'Engelbert Humperdinck', isn't very cool is it? 😒Grin

punkpuffin · 26/04/2017 23:41

ZebraOwl, I think we may have an educational establishment in common! In my day there was a staircase with name boards for Dr Friend and Dr Guest next to each other, which always tickled me.

A very senior person in the corporate world that I inhabit is called Warwick Hunt. And I once encountered an Innocence Fulgent at a conference.

SingingSands · 26/04/2017 22:18

My old schoolfriend is Dr Love.

My friend used to worked with a Julie Wooley.

This thread is really making me laugh... Andy & Mandy Spong?! 😂

Someone I know is called Robin Ramkissoon. Love it!

LadyAlanPartridge · 26/04/2017 22:06

DP used to correspond with a lady called Fanny Rubin in work.

She worked in one of the international offices. Always giggled when I heard her name

StripeyDeckchair · 26/04/2017 21:11

I used to know a Rosemary Balls, usually called Rosie.

I was at school with a Derryen Flook

theluckiest · 26/04/2017 20:42

There's a Midlands reporter called Nina Nannar...I like that.

My mum swears she once interviewed a bloke called Fuk Yu. My mum is quite straight laced and not the type to make shit like this up. Poor bloke if it's true...

Sunbeam18 · 26/04/2017 20:31

My friend went to school with Andrew and Peter Ness; yup, A Ness and P Ness

TheFirstMrsDV · 26/04/2017 20:27

Merlin Hollywood.
What a fantastic name.

WhenLoveAndCakeCollide · 26/04/2017 20:25

On 'National Signing Day' (it's the day [back home in the States] when student athletes sign their national letters of intent for their respective colleges) this year, one of the football players garnered a lot of attention for his name: Kobe Buffalomeat

He is of Native American heritage, and that's the origin of his last name.

And here he is

Another football player I recall from national signing day was Wrangler Haresnape.

BellMcEnd · 26/04/2017 20:11

It's actually a great name but every time I hear the name Ralph, I snigger in a very juvenile way

Hygellig · 26/04/2017 20:08

There is a doctor at a hospital near me called Mehboob Ali, and my friend once had a letter from a breast cancer specialist called Dr Boobis.
